Reasons to Start an Inbound Marketing Campaign

March 01, 20173 min read

Let’s face it, the traditional outbound marketing campaigns and various ways in which consumers interact with businesses and their brands have changed dramatically within the last five to ten years, and if you want your business to be successful, then you must be able to adapt to this new way of doing things. Anyone can set up a Facebook page or a Twitter account for their business, but maintaing an interested and loyal audience with a recognizable brand requires much more than simply being savvy with social networking.

In v Out: Why Inbound Marketing is superior to older styles of marketing

This is where the marketing strategy known as Inbound Marketing comes to play a valuable role in transforming the way your business approaches the relationship you have with the customer during the digital age. So if traditional Outbound Marketing is all about aggressively inundating the customer with information through ad campaigns and similar methods, thus marketing out; inbound marketing on the other hand is all about attracting the audience in, with customer-centric strategies that seek to help by providing relevant, and helpful content.

But how exactly does an inbound marketing campaign work, and why should your business consider working with a Sacramento marketing firm like LOJO, to launch such a campaign? Here are just a few of the reasons why:

  1. An inbound marketing campaign is a proven, data driven method

While inbound marketing is all about earning the trust of your buyer by providing them with helpful and valuable information that they love to receive, the methodology informing the strategy is all about the analysis of marketing data. Essentially, the point of the data itself is to gather as much information as possible about your audience with the intent of finding ways to better serve their needs as it relates to the industry you’re operating in.

Why this is helpful: Data analytics allows you to improve ideas, products, and strategies as you go, which makes businesses grow at a more efficient pace.

  1. Content marketing is an efficient way to maximize brand awareness and authority

Anything you read or consume on the internet can be considered content, and the ability to produce and promote content (i.e., content marketing), is one of the main ways that businesses communicate with their target audiences, create brand awareness, educate consumers, and so much more! Whether a social media post, email, blog, or eBook, by providing your audience with consistent and quality content that they want to share with their friends, your business will gradually increase it’s level of brand authority and recognition in the industry.

Why this is helpful: Attracting the right audience, converting leads, and increasing sales are all related to successful content marketing, which is basically the bedrock of inbound marketing.

  1. An inbound marketing campaign can help any business, of any size, in any industry

Even if social media and blog posts are not your area of expertise or haven’t been the usual medium through which you communicate to your customers, there’s no need to worry because inbound marketing can be implemented by our marketing or sales team, in any industry, and with any level of technical experience.

Why this is helpful: A successful marketing strategy needs to be tailored to your business, brand, and product so that the needs of the customers are being fulfilled, and the goals of your business are being met. Inbound marketing campaigns address these requirements in ways that traditional outbound marketing campaigns do not.

So whether you already have a website up and running, or don’t know where to begin when it comes to launching an inbound marketing campaign, our friendly marketing and sales teams here at LOJO would love to discuss all of the ways switching to inbound marketing can help bring your business up to speed this year!

After spending several months reviewing multiple proposals from several different companies we engaged LOJO to develop a new website that represents our company effectively. We worked initially with Stephen Platte who helped create the scope of the project. Stephen was knowledgeable and always followed up with me on time and as promised.

He "closed the deal" for LOJO with his professionalism, service orientation and easy going approach. Once we signed the contract we were introduced to Jay Kelly who would be the creative lead for LOJO. This was the most challenging part of the project for my company, as there was no shortage of ideas from our side. Jay managed the project flawlessly, and once we had all agreed to the design, Jay introduced us to Eric.

Eric Lay is one of the founders of LOJO. Eric took the design we had developed and brought it to life. We delivered content as quickly as he requested it. Eric kept the project on task and we responded by exceeding every deadline for content. In turn, once provided, literally not a day went by that Eric didn't add the content and take the next step. In just a few weeks we launched our new website. Eric is a pleasure to work with.

His positive attitude and consultative approach really enhanced the experience and made a big difference for us in the outcome of our project. We would welcome you to visit our website to take a look at the quality work of LOJO. We are very pleased with LOJO and look forward to working with them in the future as we pursue an aggressive SEO strategy."
